Getting Started

Please Note:

If you are a parent or guardian who applied for child care prior to April 20, 2012 please do not create an account unless you received notice to do so from a child care centre. You should have received a letter from The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board with your account details if your information has been entered. The letters were mailed on May 1, 2012. If you did not receive your account information, please contact your child care provider.

To complete your application, you must first create an account . Once you create an account you will automatically receive an email with a username and passphrase so that you can sign-in later to make any changes to your information.

Information contained in this application will be shared with all child care agencies selected by the applicant, for the purposes of placing your child in an available space. If your child has attended a child care centre in the past, information regarding outstanding child care fees may be shared between child care operators before your child is placed again. Information collected on this application form is subject to the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
